Volvo Alloy Wheels
Volvos XC range has been popular since its inception at the turn of the century. The XC badge stands for Cross Country, and this range is versatile and as with all Volvo cars is built to be safe and practical.
These workhorses are also good to look at, as they’re developed in Sweden, so benefit from Scandi design. Sadly badly scuffed alloy wheels detract from the XC90’s good looks. Of course life happens, and wear and tear will leave alloy wheels looking a bit chipped. Especially as the roads around Reading seem to be full of pot holes at the moment! Luckily this Volvo owner knew how to get his alloy wheels looking as good as new. He bought them to us at Silverims, and they were restored to their former glory.
The Process
The alloy wheels were fully cleaned and stripped back, then they were repaired, then given a coat of primer, powder coated and lacquered to give them a tough top coat. This sadly won’t mean that they can never get scuffed again, but it will keep them looking good for longer. These silver finished wheels look really good with the silver bodywork.We care about our work, so it’s good to see the car looking so good after the wheels have been refurbed.
